Northern leaders meet to tackle climate change

Kimberley Land Council (KLC) Land and Sea Manager Daniel Oades recently travelled to Darwin to meet with the North Australian Indigenous Land and Sea Management Alliance, Indigenous Desert Alliance, Aboriginal Carbon Foundation and Firesticks.

Together, they spoke about the exciting opportunities for Traditional Owners and Indigenous organisations in the emerging nature repair and biodiversity market.

Indigenous knowledge and leadership are crucial to address globally acknowledged environmental challenges.

The KLC is proud to be collaborating with Indigenous partners to create a more sustainable future.
