KLC CEO Tyronne Garstone appointed a member of Nature Repair Committee

In September, KLC CEO Tyronne Garstone was appointed to be part of the first-ever Nature Repair Committee to advise Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek on the set up and integrity of this market, and biodiversity methods.

The Nature Repair Market is a voluntary legislated national market encouraging people and businesses to invest in projects that restore and protect country. Eligible individuals and organisations can undertake nature repair projects to generate a tradable certificate that can be sold to generate income.

The KLC has been working hard to influence and inform how the market works so that native title holders in the Kimberley can participate and benefit.

Tyronne is joined on the independent committee by Steve McCutcheon, James Fitzsimons, Brendan Foran, Fiona Simson and Siobhan Toohill.
