The KLC’s Legal Unit provides a wide range of services to native title parties (prescribed bodies corporate (PBCs), native title holders and claim groups) throughout the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Reporting to the Deputy Principal Lawyer, this is a vital role delivering legal services in native title, Aboriginal cultural heritage, and Indigenous governance. You’ll work closely with Traditional Owners, PBCs, and native title parties to uphold their rights and build long-term capacity.
This position operates out of Broome KLC office.

The Field Officer provides logistical and practical support to the Native Title Services Unit and the Executive Unit of the KLC. The role involves regular travel across the East Kimberley region to support field operations.

The Project Officer plays an active and vital role in the coordination and delivery of a regionally based native title service to Traditional Owners throughout the Kimberley. This position works closely with other KLC units and Traditional Owner groups especially in relation to post determination support, compliance and advancement.
The position operates out of Kununurra KLC office with travel across the East Kimberley Region.

The purpose of this position is to coordinate and support the delivery of appropriate accredited and non-accredited training to all KLC Staff, with a primary focus on Indigenous rangers within the Kimberley Ranger Network. The position will work to ensure training is delivered flexibly to people with diverse backgrounds and education levels, is workplace contextualised, integrated with ranger work programs, delivers work outputs on country and is appropriately targeted to group development needs.
The position operates out of Broome KLC office with regular travel across the Kimberley Region.
