The KLC has a proud history over more than 30 years. We want to build on our achievements and continue with the good work we do for our members and for Kimberley Aboriginal people.
Main priorities:
Level 1
- Litigation: matters before the court
- Consent determinations: matters in mediation
- New claims: lodgement of claims over areas not under native title
- Urgent future acts and negotiated agreements that effect native title rights and interests.
Level 2
- Research for connection to progress claims towards mediation
Level 3
- Commence research to progress new claims
The KLC’s strategic plan for 2011 – 2016 sets out the aims and objectives of the organization and the goals, strategies and key performance indicators which will help us achieve those aims.
